BSMI 2022-02-22 announced the latest commodity inspection regulations, mainly in line with international regulations; focusing on merging information, radio and television, and audio-visual equipment into multimedia equipment inspection methods.

Effective from 2022-02-22, mandatory on 2024-01.

Summary of the replacement of the old and new versions of the regulations:

Electromagnetic compatibility CNS 15936 (105) replaces CNS 13438 (95), CNS 13439 (93)
Safety requirements CNS 15598-1 (109) replaces CNS 14336-1 (99), CNS 14408 (93)

In addition, the latest version is also used for wireless charger certification.
